      Explanation 
      The Admin Server for the directory server instance was running when
      the IP addresses were reconfigured.  Therefore, it must be restarted to be able
      to bind to the IP addresses.
       

      User response 
      Stop the Admin Server of the directory server instance using the ibmdiradm -k
      command and then start the Admin Server again using the ibmdiradm command.
