Releasing a baseline and all objects

When you release a baseline and all objects, you move all objects in the baseline. The transition is useful for creating a delivery release to customers, creating a milestone release for quality assurance testing, and preparing for a final release.

Before you can release a baseline, you must create a baseline and then publish the test baseline to developers. The instructions in this operation assume that you already have created and published a baseline and only need to release it.

Procedure

Select the appropriate baselines, right-click over the baselines, and choose Release.
A confirmation dialog box appears. Click Yes.
You might be ready to prepare your product for delivery to customers.
