Capturing client data

Client data is the set of information that your organization can record and maintain for a client, such as contact details or clinical information. The data conforms with standard coding systems for clinical data. Data can be entered manually in IBM Watson Care Manager or it might come from other systems, such as a hospital electronic medical record (EMR) system.

About this task

Important: You can add, modify, or delete most manually added client data. Clinical and vitals data that comes from other systems is read-only. You can modify most client demographics and contact data that comes from other systems.

When you add, modify, or delete demographics or contact data, your updates are shared with other IBM products that are integrated with your Watson Care Manager application. Demographics and contact data is Name, Gender, Birth and Death, Marital Status, Identification Address, Phone Number, and Email Address information.
