Managing unassigned clients

If organization units are enabled for your organization, you can monitor clients who are not being actively care managed in your organization unit and who have no open referral. You can assign one or more clients to a care team user (who has at least one assigned role) or you can deactivate the client in the application.

About this task

Unassigned clients can occur in the application in these instances:
  • When a client, who is manually registered, is not assigned a care team member (primary or non-primary)
  • When a referral is rejected for the client, and the client is not assigned a care team member (primary or non-primary)
  • When an inactive client, who has no open referrals and who is not assigned a care team member (primary or non-primary), is reactivated
