You can deploy a XOM directly to a Rule Execution Server.
About this task
The XOM of each rule project on which you want to perform
testing must be accessible to the Decision Runner. You can deploy
the XOM of a rule project directly to a Rule Execution Server using
Managed XOM.
Procedure
To make the XOM accessible to the Decision Runner
by deploying:
- In the Rule Explorer, right-click a rule project and select .
If you are using decision operations, select Deploy XOM
for testing from the Business Console instead.
- Select an existing Rule Execution Server or
deployment configuration, and click Finish.
- Synchronize your project to Decision
Center so
that the deployment.xml file, created when you
deploy, is available in Decision
Center.
This file contains the list of deployed XOMs.
What to do next
Make sure that the URL of the
Rule Execution Server you
indicated when deploying the XOM uses the same server and port as
the URL of the Decision Runner in
Decision
Center.
If not, you must set the
RES_URL init parameter on
the Decision Runner web application to the
Rule Execution Server URL
that you use to deploy the XOM.
