Distributing Secure PSF Output

PSF prints a randomly generated number for each job on the header and the trailer pages of the job if guaranteed print labeling is being performed. The printer operator matches the number on the header page to the number on the trailer page before distributing the job output. By ensuring that the numbers match, the printer operator ensures output security. Figure 3 illustrates the printed numbers.
