Custom installations by using Installation Manager
You can perform a custom installation on one, two, three, or four servers by starting the Installation Manager either from the launchpad or by using Installation Manager in GUI mode, if you do not have a browser on the target machine.
Performing a custom installation on a single server
You can perform the custom installation to install and configure one or more Jazz for Service Management integration services on a single server. This server might also need a DB2® installation depending on whether you want to install Reporting Services.- Performing a custom installation on two servers
You can perform the custom installation to install and configure one or more Jazz for Service Management integration services on two servers, the Jazz for Service Management database server and the Jazz for Service Management composite application server. - Performing a custom installation on three servers
You can perform the custom installation to install and configure different Jazz for Service Management integration services on three servers, database server, enterprise application server, and UI and reporting server. - Performing a custom installation on four servers
You can perform the custom installation to install and configure different Jazz for Service Management integration services on four servers, database server, enterprise application server, UI server, and reporting server. - Starting Installation Manager by using the launchpad
You can use the launchpad, if you have a browser that is installed on the target server. Run the launchpad for custom installations on each Jazz for Service Management server in your chosen topology. - Starting the Installation Manager in GUI mode
You can use the Installation Manager in GUI mode for custom installations, if you cannot use the launchpad on the target server. Run the Installation Manager in GUI mode on each Jazz for Service Management server in your chosen topology. - Starting the Installation Manager installation program
You can use the Installation Manager for custom installations, if you cannot use the launchpad on the target server. Run the Installation Manager installation program on each Jazz for Service Management server in your chosen topology. - Integration services installation overview
A custom installation provides the flexibility to install only one integration service or install multiple integration services individually, in different launchpad or Installation Manager GUI sessions. You can also choose to install multiple integration services in a single launchpad or Installation Manager GUI session.
