You can use Content Analytics Studio to
configure, test, and deploy UIMA pipelines.
UIMA pipelines Content Analytics Studio uses UIMA to analyze documents and record the
results as a set of annotations. A UIMA pipeline is a sequence of one or more annotator stages
that run one after another. Each annotator can add to or modify the results from the previous
annotator stages to build a more detailed analysis of the document.
Configuring a UIMA pipeline
You can configure a UIMA pipeline file to specify the sequence
of linguistic resources to use to analyze documents.
Testing a UIMA pipeline
As you develop your UIMA pipeline, you can analyze sample
documents to verify that the expected annotations are generated by
the pipeline.
Exporting a UIMA pipeline
After you create, configure, and test your UIMA pipeline in Content Analytics Studio, you can export the pipeline as a PEAR file that is
installed directly into Watson Explorer Content Analytics as a system text analysis
engine and associated with one or more collections. You can also export pipelines to solutions
in a Watson Explorer Content Analytics collection that is based on a solution
package, or export pipelines for domain adaptive search.
