This document explains how to download IBM WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus Version 6.2 files from the Passport Advantage website.

WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus supports the integration of service-oriented, message-oriented and event-driven technologies to provide standards-based, messaging infrastructure to companies wanting a fast start to a service-oriented architecture (SOA).

This document explains how to download the full WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus Version 6.2 product from Passport Advantage.

The IBM WebSphere Process Server V6.2 and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus V6.2 Feature Pack provides new Business Space widgets. The feature pack is not available on Passport Advantage. For instructions on downloading and extracting the feature pack, see this website.

Downloading and assembling the product

  1. Locate the WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus eAssembly for the platform or platforms you need to use. The eAssembly part numbers are provided in the tabbed sections of this document.
  2. Download all of the parts that you need. The parts are listed by platform in the tabbed sections of this document.
  3. Unpack each of the parts onto your system.
  4. Follow the instructions in the Quick Start Guide to install the product.

Supported platforms

Downloadable parts

Refer to the tables below for AIX on 32-bit processors and for AIX on 64-bit processors for details about what each part contains.

At a minimum, you must download the IBM WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus 6.2.0 image. Parts recommended for installation and parts optional for installation are labeled in the tables. Your need for parts depends on your usage and configuration choices. Components that you might want to use in your topology but which run on another platform can be found on the tabbed page corresponding to that platform.
