Abstract
Requirements and instructions for installing Information Server Framework Rollup Patch 6.
Content
This document has been designed to clarify the installation process and replaces any physical README file you may have downloaded previously.
Each Information Server Framework (ISF) rollup for version 11.5 also includes the content of the previous rollups.
The most recent fix pack release for Information Server version 11.5 is 11.5 FP1 (11.5.0.1) which is a prerequisite for Information Server Framework Rollup Patch 6. The download document contains installation information for ISF Rollup 6.
There are 2 installation scenarios:
- If Information Server Framework Rollup Patch 4 or 5, Information Server Data Integration Rollup 1, and Information Server Governance Rollup 6 or later have been installed, do the following steps:
- Install ISF Rollup 6 version 2. Disregard any pre-req and co-req instructions in the associated Readme, as these instructions supersede them.
- If Information Server Framework Rollup Patch 5 was not installed previously
- Install the patch for APAR JR56946: is11501_JR56951_dscore_services_multi
- Install the patches for APAR JR56838:
- is11501_JR56838_IGC_services_engine_client_multi or Governance Rollup 7
- is11501_JR56838_CC-Unstructured_engine_multi

- Otherwise, the steps to be performed are in the installation instructions for
- Information Server Governance Rollup 7 if Information Server Governance components are used
- Information Server Data Integration Rollup 1 if Information Server Governance components are not used
