Instructions for installing Information Server Governance Rollup Patch 7

The steps below are PRE-REQUISITES and must be installed in the order presented:

1.) If you upgraded from 11.3.x originally, do this step:
Read technote 2001691and install patch is11501_JR57568_Xmeta_ISModels_multi

2.) If either of the following two conditions are met skip this step:
Condition 1 - If WebSphere Application Server is at version 8.5.5.8 or earlier you can skip pre-requisite step 2.
Condition 2 - If WebSphere Application Server is at version 8.5.5.9 or later, and ISF rollup patch 3, 4, 5, or 6 has already been installed you can skip pre-requisite step 2.

If neither condition 1 or 2 above are met perform the actions found in JR55924 before installing ISF Roll Up 6 as follows:
Copy http*.jar files from
C:\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\InfoSphere\lib\iis\20thirdparty
to
C:\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\InfoSphere\classes
-and-
<IIS Install>/ASBServer/apps/lib/iis/classes

3.) If ISF Roll Up 6 has been installed skip this step.
Install ISF Roll Up 6. Please go to Fix Central to install is11501_isf_ru6

4.) Follow directions in Technote 1995586 to clean up the istool and IS Manager caches in all relevant locations

5.) If IBM InfoSphere Information Server Data Integration Rollup 1 has been installed skip this step.
Install IBM InfoSphere Information Server Data Integration Rollup 1. Please go to Fix Central to install is11501_DI_RU1
NOTE: Some of the resolutions in Data Integration Rollup 1 require post-installation steps which can be found in technote: 7046760

6.) Download and install IBM InfoSphere Information Server Governance Rollup 7.
The download document and links to known issues can be found in this download document.

After successfully installing IBM InfoSphere Information Server Governance Rollup 7 please review the co-requisites below for additional patches needed to update all security code changes.
Your IBM ID will be required to access Fix Central. Patches must be installed separately.

The steps below are CO-REQUISITES. Install the following after the PRE-REQUISTES above are complete if applicable (see specific guidance associated with each item).
The order of installation does not matter for CO-REQUISITES.

1.) If the following patches were installed before installing IBM InfoSphere Information Server Data Integration Rollup 1 the following patches must be reinstalled using the ‘-force’ option.
· APAR JR56838: Install Fix Central ID: is11501_JR56838_CC-Unstructured_engine_multi .

· APAR JR56569: Install Fix Central ID is115_JR56569_XML_engine_client_all.
If you need additional details about this fix, see the associated Security Bulletin.
· APAR JR56946:Install Fix Central ID: is11501_JR56951_dscore_services_multi
· APAR JR56733: Install Fix Central ID: is11501_JR56733_ccgui_client_win

2.) If the patches below have already been installed there is no need to reinstall them:
· For FastTrack Installations: Install Fix Central ID: is11501_ft_ru1_services_client_multi

3.) If you are upgrading from a previous version of InfoSphere Information Server and already have exception sets in InfoSphere Data Quality Exception Console, you must rebuild the exception set index before you use InfoSphere Data Quality Exception Console.

4.) If there are already database tables and data files imported into the metadata repository or if you are upgrading from a previous version of InfoSphere Information Analyzer thin client, you must reindex the "da-datasets" Solr collection before using the Information Analyzer thin client.
