Abstract

Fix packs 7.1.2.7 and 8.0.0.3 for the IBM Rational ClearCase 7.1.2 and 8.0 releases are available.

Content

Fix packs 7.1.2.7 and 8.0.0.3 which contain defect fixes and include added platform support are available for download.

Important note: Before installing either of these fix packs on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.x review technote 1599399 ClearCase file operations may cause system hang on Red Hat 6

Platform support changes

  • Support has been added for the following:

    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Update 8 (RHEL 5.8) with ClearCase 8.0.0.3 and 7.1.2.7
    • Oracle Solaris 11 with ClearCase 8.0.0.3
    • SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) and Desktop (SLED) 11 SP2 with ClearCase 8.0.0.3 and 7.1.2.7
    • Samba 3.5.14 with ClearCase 8.0.0.3 and 7.1.2.7
    • Apple Mac OS X 10.7 with ClearCase 8.0.0.3
