Problem
This technote advises you of a problem with IBM Rational ClearCase fix packs 7.1.2.7 and 8.0.0.3 which may cause a system hang after performing ClearCase file operations on Red Hat 6 x86 32-bit hosts.
Symptom
After performing ClearCase file operations, the system may hang on any subsequent file operation.
Environment
Effects Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.x, 32-bit, x86 Multi-Processor systems
Resolving The Problem
This issue has been resolved in ClearCase 7.1.2.8 and 8.0.0.4.
