Abstract
This document lists the firmware stacks that have been tested for the InfoSphere Balanced Warehouse E7100 for AIX.
Content
The following firmware stacks were tested on the InfoSphere Balanced Warehouse E7100 hardware with their corresponding software stacks. You may apply firmware versions that are newer than the tested firmware versions, but it is recommended that you do so only for a good reason, for example because the newer level contains a fix for a problem that affects your system. Be sure to check any new firmware readme file for compatibility concerns. If you must deviate from a tested stack, consult the FAQ about software and firmware upgrades.

| Notes: 1. The new HMC level replaces the older tested level, which was V7 R3.4.0 with efix MH01152. 2. The new HBA level replaces the older tested level, which was 271102. Upgrading the level to 271315 is recommended to fix a critical error. With the previously recommended level, the firmware sometimes reports a false error that causes the device driver to take the adapter off-line with instructions to replace the adapter. 3. If your DS4800 storage controller is at v06.xx, you must update it to v07.36.17.00 before you can update it to v07.50.13.00. | ||
