Error description

  • After upgrade from 7101 to 7106 could not  discover schema for
    table
    Sybase. With same database same table, it is working fine on
    7101.
    
    In 7106, after create data source, then create datatype, when
    click
    Refresh Fields, there is error popup :
    
    "Could not discover schema for table 'iams.RootLevel'. Please
    check the
    database type, location, username and password. For more
    information,
    consult the documentation. It is also possible that the
    specified
    database is not compatible with auto schema discovery."

Problem conclusion

  • Single dot is use for separator between schema and table, but
    Sybase is double dot instead, so change separator  to double
    dot.
