Error description

  • From IS 8.5 onwards the client connect dialog has changed back
    to Fixed Dialog, need to be changed back to 'Sizable', as it
    was in IS 8.1 clients as part of Apar JR32677
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • DataStage client login screen was not resizable.
    This was an issue for customer with long hostnames and project
    names where the rightmost part of the Project pulldown values
    were not visible.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Made login form resizable so that field width could be increased
     by resizing the form.
