• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Balanced Optimization -  generates incorrect SQL to convert
  StringToTimestamp
  ("9999-12-31 23:59:59","%yyyy-%mm-%dd %hh:%nn:%ss") for
  Teradata.
  
  Instead it generates:
  
  CAST(CAST('9999-12-31 23:59:59' AS TIMESTAMP(6) FORMAT
  'YYYY-MM-DD hh:
  mm:SS') AS VARCHAR(32)) as Collection_Status_End_Dttm

Problem summary

  BalOp V8.1 generated incorrect SQL for StringToTimestamp()
  function on Teradata.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  BalOp V81 generate incorrect SQL for StringToTimestamp()
  function for Teradata DB. BalOp creates Date format
  ('YYYY%mm%dd') where it should be ('YYYYmmdd').
  ****************************************************************
  RECOMMENDATION:
  Install Rollup Patch 13. It is available as:
       patch_Rollup13_BalOpt_Windows_8100.zip

Problem conclusion

• BalOp V81 is not mapping to the right SQL for
  StringToTimestamp() for Teradata.
