Takreem El-Tohamy was appointed as the general manager of IBM Middle East & Africa in January 2005. Prior to his appointment, Takreem was at IBM’s EMEA head office in Paris leading the Affiliates and Delivery group of IBM Global Services for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA)
Takreem has held a number of key leadership positions during his career at IBM, including Territory Executive for IBM Middle East and Africa, where he led IBM’s execution for Small and Medium Business Strategy for the region. Prior to that, he was Territory Manager for IBM Egypt, with responsibility for the whole country revenue and operation.
He joined IBM in 1984 in Cairo, Egypt.
