The IBM zEnterprise™ System is the worlds fastest and most scalable enterprise system. The mininum IBM SDK levels for zEnterprise support are specified below.

Java SDK 1.4.2 SDK Level depends on z/OS Release:
  • z/OS V1.10: All SDK 1.4.2 levels
  • z/OS V1.11: Java 142 SR13 FP4 minimum level for support on z196
  • z/OS V1.12: Java SDK1.4.2 is not supported
Java SDK 5.0 All SDK 5.0 levels are supported
Java SDK 6 All SDK 6 levels are supported
Java SDK 7 All SDK 7 levels are supported

Note 1: In general, the latest service refreshes are recommended.

Note 2: The SDK 1.4.2 product, IBM SDK for z/OS, Java 2 Technology Edition, V1.4 (5655-I56), is no longer orderable and goes out of service September, 2011.
