Description: This course covers basic data management functionality to prepare data for CMS and Joint Commission submission. The topics include: Uploading Data, Resolving Data Errors, Reviewing Data Quality, and Managing Records.
Description: In this course you will learn how to run, customize, and interpret the following reports:
Measure Summary Report, Measure Categorization Report, and Submission Summary Report. These reports provide the information you need for reporting clinical quality measures to CMS through attestation and information to better understand the quality measure results for your hospital.
Description: This course explains how to use the Measure Trends Report to analyze your data in different ways. With this report you can view aggregate measure results for a group of hospitals in your health care system and compare the quality measure results for your hospital or a group of hospitals against a defined target or benchmark.
Description: Learn how to compare your Clinical Data Quality Measures data to MUQM data. This course is for customers who subscribe to Meaningful Use Quality Manager and CareDiscovery® Quality Manager.
Description: MUQM helps you take advantage of both Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and Joint Commission electronic clinical quality measures reporting requirements often referred to as eCQM. It is a web-based application that accepts patient data from disparate electronic health record systems, calculates measures, generates measure results, and performs electronic submission to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid and the Joint Commission on your behalf.
CQMs quantify quality in our health care system. Measuring and reporting CQMs help to ensure care is delivered in a safe, effective, equitable and timely manner. eCQMs use data from electronic health records (EHR) and/or health information technology systems to measure health care quality. The CMS use eCQMs in a variety of quality reporting and incentive programs. You might also hear the term eMeasures often. eMeasure is an old term that has been replaced with eCQM.
Description: MUQM enables hospitals to view and validate data for accurate report submissions by generating multiple reports. You will also understand data elements required for eCQM calculations and helps you to perform gap analyses so that the continuous performance improvements can be incorporated by your organization. There are several ways to validate your data using MUQM. In this session, we will cover data validation using Measure Summary Report and Measure Categorization Report.
