The document viewer provides the user with the power to review the extracted entities in context, and modify entities or categories directly within the document viewer. The user maintains control over how entities are tagged while gaining the speed and consistency of the embedded powerful Natural Language Processing engine.

The tightly integrated application will process non-English documents with no sorting required. The important Entities and Relationships will be extracted. You now have the ability to view an English gist of a non-English, or mixed language document. This helps you instantly understand the important concepts, entities, and relationships non-English documents.

Software requirements

See IBM Analyst’s Notebook system requirements. This application has been tightly integrated to Analyst Notebook and requires no additional system requirements. IBM Analyst Notebook 9+ One of the following Supported Databases: Microsoft SQL 2014 + (or Express) MySQL 5 + Postgres 8+

    Hardware requirements

    Requires at least 8gb of free hard drive space. Underlying engine must be able to allocate at least 3GB of RAM at service startup. While configurable (see documentation), 4GB is recommended, and is the default setting. 4GB will result in a noticeable performance increase. Setting this higher than 6GB results in diminishing performance returns.

      Technical specifications

      Initial configuration allows user to specify whether they want to do Extraction on the locally embedded Rosoka Extraction Engine using their personal LxBase, or send their documents to be processed with the Organization’s LxBase. Processing Locally requires 4Gb of RAM on top of the Analyst’s Notebook RAM requirements, and there is a short (>20 second) engine initialization procedure on startup.
