Online assessments

While your application is being screened, all candidates will be required to take two Learning Agility assessments (Cognitive and Personality).

A third assessment may be required based on the role (e.g. Developer roles will require a Coding assessment).

Cognitive Ability Assessment – helps us to understand how you learn, make decisions, and solve problems. You’ll encounter a series of 5 interactive games presenting you with text, numbers and shapes that you’ll need to read and manipulate to solve problems.

Personality Assessment – helps us understand your motivation and interests. All content is text based and you’ll be presented with a series of statements where you must decide which one best describes you.

Video Assessment – helps us get to know you through a series of interview questions where your response is captured through a webcam and microphone.

You’ll participate in a series of interviews that will either be in person (on campus, in an IBM office, large-scale interview event) or virtual. The format of the interviews (behav-ioral, case study, or technical) will depend on the role you are interviewing for.
