PSAI menu now includes SUSE Enterprise Linux course!

IBM's Power Systems Academic Initiative (PSAI) is expanding its courseware offerings through a new collaboration with SUSE, which allows PSAI members access to the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 Administration course – at no cost.

Today, thousands of businesses worldwide rely on SUSE for their mission-critical computing and IT management needs. "Open source is very important to the future of Information Technology and we are pleased to be able to offer SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 Administration to our faculty members," says Peter Glass, program manager, IBM PSAI. "We are constantly looking to provide faculty with resources to educate today's students for employment opportunities in the world of IT."

This course and self-paced faculty training can be ordered via OnTheHub (Power Systems/Courses/Linux). Upon receipt of an order, faculty members will be contacted by a PSAI team member to complete the fulfillment process with SUSE and the SUSE Academic Program. Once registered, faculty will have access to self-paced training and courseware to teach SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 Administration. In this course, students are introduced to the basic knowledge and skills necessary to perform fundamental SUSE Linux Enterprise 12 operating system tasks. The following topics are covered:
