What is TechU?
IBM Systems Technical University (TechU) provides deep technical training on products and solutions for IBM Systems’ clients and business partners. TechU events enable attendees to engage directly with IBM’s world- class expertise, game-changing technology and each other. TechU is now virtual. Come join us!
Who should attend TechU?
This virtual conference is designed for IBM clients, IBM Business Partners and IBM employees who share a technical vision and curiosity. We recognize that innovation is more than just a job title and it thrives on constant change. Therefore, our sessions are meant for ALL roles from developers and architects, to engineers and IT professionals.

How do attendees register and what is the cost?
Visit the main event page for the TechU location that interests you. Click on the “register now” link which will take you directly to the registration page for details. Pricing varies by event.
What is included with full tuition?
You will receive access to all lectures and demos. Check your registration terms and conditions for details as every event is different. The NDA sessions and hands-on labs are NOT included in the on-demand package.
Do I have to register for sessions I want to attend?
All sessions are on demand and available whenever you choose to connect.
Will TechU help me justify my attendance to my manager?
Yes. We have drafted an email for you. Click on the main event page. You will notice the “Dear Boss:”
Can I download TechU presentations?
Yes. Presentations are available to registered attendees. Presentations are available to download on the event site, within each session. If there is not a presentation posted, the speaker has not made one available.
Where can I see the Agenda for an upcoming TechU event?
Click on the event for the Agenda that you are interested in attending.
Can I transfer my registration if I can no longer attend?
Substitutions are not permitted for on demand access.
Any discounts for groups of attendees?
Pricing discounts vary by event. Please refer to the event’s website or contact your IBM sales rep. for additional information.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Check the event website under the registration tab for the cancellation and refund policy.
Does TechU have a Mobile app?
Yes. To find it in the app stores, search for ibmtechu. All registered attendees will receive an email with their access credentials prior to the event start. The app will be available for use for the virtual event as it will allow people to easily build their agenda and provide us with session and event feedback.
