How this works?
Proposals may include a range of technical and business sessions including hands-on labs. The majority of sessions selected for IBM TechU will be deeply technical and, where possible, should include demos. Although most sessions will run for 50 minutes, we also welcome shorter 25 minute 'lightning talks', which have proved very popular in our virtual conference format.
Session Preparation and Recording
It's vital to note before submitting your proposal that approximately 80% of the sessions will be pre-recorded. These sessions will be broadcast simu-live or on demand. It is required to record your session 6 weeks before the conference and upload your video HD .mp4 or .mov no later than September 13, 2021. The event team will then pre-process the video submissions including adding closed captioning in preparation for the event. Please ensure you can commit to these deadlines before submitting a proposal to ensure you're are not surprised or disappointed later.
IBM TechU 2021 virtual edition is accepting IBM Power Systems, IBM Storage, IBM Z® and LinuxONE submissions in the following categories:
