Integrated Analytics System models comparison

There are three basic groups of IAS models available: compute-only racks, compute racks with tiered storage, and the smallest 001 model, for which the rack is provided by the customer.

The table summarizes the following models:
  • M4001-0xx - compute only racks
  • M4002-0xx - compute only racks
  • M4002-0xxS - compute racks with tiered storage
  • M4002-001 - customer-provided rack

The IAS single-rack models, depending on the number of nodes that they have, might also be referred to as:
  • 1/3 rack - 3 nodes
  • 2/3 rack - 5 nodes
  • Full rack - 7 nodes
Note: The following 3-node appliances can be downsized with the Grow on Demand functionality:
  • M4001-003
  • M4002-003
For more information see Grow on Demand.
