Abstract
This white paper contains capacity planning and performance information for the V1R9 z/OS CS TN3270 server running clear text and secure (TLS and AT-TLS). Measurement results are documented for a range of TN3270 users from 8K to 256K. They include scalability, storage utilization, and performance metrics for clear text, TLS, and AT-TLS as well as a comparison of secure and clear text.
