Zero byte file being sent to File Gateway Consumer

Troubleshooting


Problem

File Gateway Consumers are periodically receiving zero-byte files, but the logs show that the files received from the Producer are not zero byte files.

Symptom

  • Consumer receives zero-byte files.
  • Logs and communications screen show that file received from the Producer are not zero-byte files.
  • Can find the file, but it is not in the designated shared file storage area.
