Troubleshooting
Problem
The zen watchdog pod is in a crashloopbackoff state caused by the zen core api pod.
In the zen core api pod you find that there are missing tables in the metastoredb with errors similar to:
Encountered exception" moreInfo="[]" trace=3xxx time="xxx" level=error msg=GetCountFromServiceInstancesView error="pq: relation \"service_instances_view\" does not exist" event="Encountered exception" moreInfo="[]" trace= time="xxx" level=error
This has been seen to occur when Cloud Pak for Data and Cloud Pak for Data System are not properly upgraded.
