Abstract

Silent installation or uninstallation of Process Engine server and Process Engine client 5.0.0 can display the following error: X connection to localhost:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown). This error condition can occur when you use a Windows client to connect to a UNIX or Linux system.

Using a Windows client to connect to a UNIX or Linux server to do a silent installation or uninstallation of Process Engine server and Process Engine client 5.0.0 results in the following error: X connection to localhost:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).

The workaround is to either unset DISPLAY or start X Windows on the UNIX or Linux server before you begin the silent installation or uninstallation procedure.
