Workflow Canvas Failed to Load

Troubleshooting


Problem

Workflow designer java error: No Java 2 SDK, Standard Edition Support for applet.

Symptom

STEPS:

1. Go to the Workflow Designer application.
2. Receive the error below when creating a new workflow process:

Workflow Canvas failed to load. Please check browser security settings and get the Java Plugin No Java 2 SDK

It happens  on IE 8 with Java 1.7.0_65. However, it works fine with FireFox.
