IBM brand Intelligent Water Family IBM Work Optimization for Water Utilities Version 1.0.0

Work types

Work types describe the type of work that was or willbe performed. For example testing or maintenance.

The work types comma-separated value file defines thework types to be used by IBM? Work Optimization for Water Utilities. The file mustbe named work_type.csv.

Each line in theCSV file needs to be in the following format:
Work_typeDescription
Where:
  • Work_type is a short form for a defined worktype. Work_type can be up to 20 characters in length.
  • Description is a description of the definedwork type. Description can be up to 80 charactersin length.

If a value contains non-alphanumeric charactersfor example spaces or symbols the value must be enclosed in quotationmarks. Otherwise surrounding values with quotation marks is optional.Values cannot include double or single quotation marks. All valuesmust be separated by commas.

Thefollowing work types are defined as samples in IBM Work Optimization for Water Utilities:

These values can be customized two ways:
  • When IBM Work Optimization for Water Utilities isinitially installed all sample values can be replaced with valuesmatching the input that will be used in the production system.
  • If additional values are required these values can be added.
