Troubleshooting
Problem
When adding the i2 license permit file by using WlmAdmin, I get the following error:
"Sentinel RMS Development Kit: Error[11]: Error in calling API
function. Check the calling parameters."
How do I get past this error so I can install my i2 license permits for i2 Product Access Management?
Resolving The Problem
Sometimes an automatically added server under the Subnet Servers list could have extra characters in the "Name" value (hostname) or the IP address resolves incorrectly.
Manually create a new Server in WlmAdmin:
- From the menu bar, select Edit -> Defined Server List
- In the Server field, add the hostname or IP address of your License server machine. Click the Add button, then OK.
- Your new server is added to the Defined Servers list.
- Right mouse click the new server and select Add Feature -> From a File -> To Server and its File to add the license permit file you received from i2PermitRequest@uk.ibm.com
- The license permits are successfully added.
