Problem
The following error is returned within the browser, after running any report in IWR 7.0: IWRcer2:IWIWRDISP:ErrorHandlerError: DECKRPTS, 2132(290), 2003/07/21 08:43:06.656; Error: 1296104567, Generic;Process ID: 2132; Thread: 656; Host: DECKRPTS; Text: The process (D:\Program Files\Cognos\cer2\bin\IWReqMan.exe) has terminated unexpectedly. An attempt will be made to start it again.; BackTrace Info: 1. File Name: Y:\src\iwr\IWR\Watchdog\wdre Additionally, the following error is returned within the iwr.log file: SOCKET ERROR. Error occurred receiving data on port deckrpts:8020, host deckrpts. WinSock function recv(). An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. WinSock Error Code: 10054. Socket error. The socket error number was 10054 Finally, the following error is returned within the Application Event Log: Dispatcher: 544 Socket error. The socket error number was 10054 Execution of any report in Upfront also causes the iwreqman.exe process to terminate. You may also get this error if the report sets are published using UNC path names and the user account that starts the Impromptu Web Reports services does not have access to the share.
