Problem

Windows services error during startup - System error 1607 and Could not call the start method

Symptom

Virtual GIS instance would not start after adding more memory to the virtual instance.

Error Message

The Gentran Integration Suite WebDav at port 1100 service has started.

Could not call the start method.

The Gentran Integration Suite Opsserver at port 1100 service failed to start.

Could not call the start method.

The Gentran Integration Suite at port 1100 service failed to start.

Noapp.log showed that the startup could not find opsserver.txt in the path specified "C:\SterlingCommerce\SI"

That file contains the following information:

'http://<GIS_servername>:<base_port+27>'

Example - http://gisserver:1127 (this would reflect a base port of 1100)
