Problem
Windows does not report an input LRECL > output LRECL condition.
Symptom
Sterling Connect:Direct for Windows does not report an input LRECL > output LRECL condition when sending a text file to a remote node. Instead it sends an invalid record and lets the remote side report the COPY step failure.
Error Message
- SCPA019I An input LRECL > output LRECL detected for compressed file.
- SCPA024I An input LRECL > output LRECL detected for non-compressed file.
- LCPS004I Negative response received during copy send - type &TYPE.
