Question & Answer
Question
After running Security Script Wizard from Filenet Enterprise Manager (FEM), objects and class definitions were successfully updated. However, why does the Security Script Wizard logs contain"0x80070005" exceptions?
Answer
This occurs if the FEM user running the script contains a "." in the username (e.g. "p8.admin").
Error stack generated in Security Script Wizard logs:
Error saving class definition after adding permission: Error 0x80070005 at System.Environment.GetStackTrace(Exception e, Boolean needFileInfo)
at System.Environment.get_StackTrace()
at FileNet.Api.Compatibility.CompatibilityException..ctor(Int32 DmaRC)

at System.Reflection.RuntimeMethodInfo.Invoke(Object obj, BindingFlags invokeAttr, Binder binder, Object[] parameters, CultureInfo culture)
If there is a username containing a "." then the error can be ignored.
