IBM Support

why can I not see my DSN configured on the server

Troubleshooting

Problem

Our IBM SPSS MODELER Server is a 64bit Server and installed on Windows 2003 server. IBM SPSS Modeler Client is 32 bit. (driver Access Pack included) There are however 2 programs where the ODBC connections can be defined : - Windows/system32/odbcad32.exe -->1 - Windows/SysWOW64/odbcad32.exe --> 2 If all drivers are installed in (2) ,where standard screen to define connections using 'Start - administration Tool Data sources (ODBC)' is (1) , the datasources aren't visible in the SQL data Source Node (Modeler server connection mode) . The DSN we see are those which are defined (or available) in (1) which do not allow us the use our databases. Changing the shortcut in 'Start - Administration Tool - data Sources(ODBC)' to 'Windows/SysWOW64/odbcad32.exe' doesn't resolve this use
