Why am I getting a DMH1680E Cannot open file DD DMHCFG message?

Question

After our upgrade to z/OS V2R2 which included an upgrade to Rational Asset Analyzer for System z V6.1.0.9 were getting the above error when running DMH0700. We migrated from from RAA for System z V6.1.0.2 to V6.1.0.9 with the upgrade to z/OS V2R2.

Excerpt from JOB LOG:

DMH1001I DMH0700 (V6.1.0.7 44988) DMH1000I . DMH1680E Cannot open file: DD:DMHCFG

Answer

The DMH0700 load module was deleted from the product in V6.1.0.8, and replaced by a similar Java implementation that accepts records of the same format. The ++HOLD for V6.1.0.8 (PTF UI29486) included instructions for deleting/renaming &hlq.CONFIG.SDMHCNTL(DMHJCLBU) so that it could be replaced by the DMHINSTL Set up option.

You can fix this issue by updating the failing batch job to reflect the changes in the &hlq.CONFIG.SDMHCNTL(DMHJCLBU) member.
