Troubleshooting
Problem
When compiling or running IBM FileNet Capture Toolkit sample applications (i.e. Browse), a COMException is encountered. This occurs with Microsoft Visual Basic .Net 2008.
Symptom
Attempting launch the Browse sample application, through VB.NET 2008, the following error appears:
COM Exception was unhandled
Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT:0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG))
A first chance exception of type 'System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException' occurred in System.Windows.Forms.dll
