Troubleshooting
Problem
In iBase, when trying to create a database Subset (under File - Data - Datbase Subsets - Create Datbase Subset), the following message is displayed :
WARNING: Even though you have the necessary permissions to create a database subset you do not have the necessary permissions to synchronize it.
You can still create the subset, but you will not be allowed to synchronize it.
Symptom
This is the message that is displayed :

Please note that this message is an Information message (from the "i" in the blue circle) and not an error.
This is the expected behaviour, that will happen accordingly to the user's permissions.
Cause
The reason of this message is that the user doesn't have full access to all tables and fields.
On this page, from the IB Knowledge Center :
it says :
"To create database subsets, the Database Creator role is required. If you use Data Access Control groups, full access to all tables and fields is required."
This means that the user belong to a Data Access Control group (the red keys) where at least one of the tables and/or fields is blocked (either in read or write).
In the example below, the Crime Table is configured as not accessible for the group :

This means that all the users that are part of the EntDonnées group will not be allowed to synchronize the Database subsets.
Resolving The Problem
You can either remove the user from the Data Access Group (the red keys), or have another user run the synchronization.
It is perfectly possible to have one user create the DB subset, and another user synchronize it.
