Problem
When a user attempts to view an Autocad DWG file from DB2 Document Manager Desktop, the document does not open.
Symptom
The Windows Event Viewer will list errors associated with aclauncher.exe.
Resolving The Problem
In order to open the documents from the DB2 Document Manager Desktop, associate DWG files to acad.exe in Windows. Do the following:
- Right-click on a DWG file from Windows Explorer and select, "Open With" -> "Choose program..."
- Select "Browse" and locate acad.exe.
- Enable the option "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file."
- Click "OK."
Restart DB2 Document Manager Desktop, then try to open a DWG file.
