Problem

When checking in a trusted certificate in Base64 or DER format errors are generated

Symptom

Using Gentran Integration Suite 4.3 and build 4314.  When checking in a CA or Trusted Certificate an error is generated on the user interface panel.   The certificate contains '*' in the location fields. 

Error Message

Error reported on the user interface panel:

"We thought this most resembled a plain DER encoded object. DER decoding failed withjava.security.cert.CertificateException: Error parsing DER data com.trustpoint.asn.AsnException: Invalid printable string character `42'.We tried PKCS7. PKCS7 decoding failed withjava.security.cert.CertificateException: Error parsing PKCS7 SignedData com.trustpoint.asn.AsnException: Unable to match element Sequence to a member of com.trustpoint.pkcs.pkcs7.ContentInfo - last attempted member was com.trustpoint.asn.AsnObjectIdLabel.errorCeryPKCS12java.security.cert.CertificateException: Error parsing PKCS12 certificate(s): Unable to match element Sequence to a member of com.trustpoint.pkcs.pkcs12.PFX - last attempted member was com.trustpoint.asn.AsnInteger "
