Troubleshooting
Problem
In IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD), when you build a Maven project errors are listed in the Problems view without a Description, Resource or Path.
Symptom
The following steps re-create the problem scenario:
- Create or import your Maven dynamic web project inside RAD
- Compile and build the project
- Check the Problems view
- RESULT: Errors are present, but the Description, Resource and Path are blank. The Location field is Unknown and the Type is Validation Message. In addition, there is a dialog box that states The validation completed, 5 errors were discovered. 111 resources were validated in 2 seconds.
