Question & Answer

Question

What is a Site Technical Contact?

Answer

The Site Technical Contact (STC) is designated by your company when an entitlement is purchased. The STC can create and update support service requests, as well as, approve access to the Service Request Tool for others in your company. They also have the ability to manage relationships with Business Partners to allow the partner to create and update service requests on their behalf.

To find out who your STC is, please contact eCustomer Care. If you need to change the STC, please visit the IBM Service Request Help page for instructions.

You will find several brief but useful videos explaining key aspects of the IBM Support Portal in the IBMElectronicSupport channel on YouTube®, including information on using My Notifications, downloading fixes and patches, and operating the Service Request technical support tool. Please visit the channel here.
