What is Provisioning?
Answer
Provisioning is the process of allocating a service(s) to a customer or subscriber.
Customers registered with Cloud Platform Business Services can use eCommerce to purchase subscriptions to services or groups of services and assign them to subscribers.? If eCommerce is not being employed the the purchase of subscriptions would be done through the standard IBM order process.? When there is a change in a customer or subscriber's entitlement the service is notified so that it can allocate/de-allocate resources in the service to the fulfillment of that entitlement as necessary.
