When creating/editing?a numeric field two available format options are?R (R0 through R9)?and N?(N0 through N9).

R formatted numeric fields contain numbers with explicit decimal points (example:??in an R2 formatted numeric field the?value?1.23 is stored/generated as 1.23).

N formatted numeric fields contain numbers with implicit decimal points (example:??in an N2 formatted numeric field the?value?1.23 is stored/generated as 123).
