What is the best way to shutdown or restart a Windows Server?

Answer

For Windows server environments:

  1. Run Start -> Tealeaf Technologies -> Stop Tealeaf Services by right-clicking and selecting "Run as Administrator " height=433
  2. Wait for the dialog box to finish
  3. Run Start -> Tealeaf Technologies -> Stop Transport Service by right-clicking and selecting "Run as Administrator"
  4. Wait for the dialog box to finish
  5. Shutdown or Restart the machine as normal
It is important to note that while any Passive Capture Application (Linux) and any Windows machine is being restarted there is potential to lose hits.?
