Question & Answer

Question

What is the 6si.min.js script loaded from the tagging JS?

Answer

6si.min, js is a 6Sense JavaScript that was implemented in early 2016 to collect information to build a predictive model. IBM legal has approved from a privacy standpoint. The purpose of the code is?to capture anonymous (IP-level) research activity (web visits) across various product information and content pages within the IBM universe. The need for the JavaScript tag on IBM sites is to use as a data signal input for 6sense's predictive analytics models of which accounts are actively researching IBM products.?This code does not expose any customer data to the 3rd party vendor;?all data is used for 6sense modeling purposes and delivered back in the form of predictive scores to IBM. It does not capture or share if the web interactions are from current customers, or any PII, with any 3rd party.
