Download Description

Fix pack 7.0.1.12 for WebSphere MQ V7.0.1 for i5/OS consists of two components:

WebSphere MQ for i5/OS 7.0.1 - Component ID 5724H7226

Base PTFs: SI52650, SI52651, SI52652, SI52653, SI52655, SI52656, SI52657, SI52658
Samples PTF: SI52654
'Marker' PTF : SI52649
WebSphere MQ for i5/OS (Java™ and JMS) 7.0.1 - Component ID 5724L2620

JAVA/JMS PTF: SI52659
JAVA Samples PTF: SI52660

Note: This Fix pack can also be downloaded using a Group PTF number. Use the following number according to your OS/400 level:
- V6R1M0: SF99351
- V7R1M0: SF99359

Prerequisites

Install these PTFs on top of IBM WebSphere MQ V7.0.1 for i5/OS

It is recommended that all i5/OS systems stay current with the latest operating system PTFs. Details of the latest i5/OS cumulative PTF packages can be found at the following Web site:
https://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.nsf/recommendedfixes

Note that this fix pack will be excluded from i5/OS cumulative PTF packages, and must therefore be installed separately.

Installation Instructions

The PTFs which provide the fixes for this fix pack should be installed using the standard i5/OS PTF process.

Please note:
1. Before applying WMQ v7.0.1.12 PTFs, users MUST quiesce all the Queue Managers and stop the QMQM subsystem.

2. Some of the PTFs exceed the size allowed for downloading immediately from Fix Central. For guidance,
